Kingston Predator Proof Hedgehog House and Hibernation Shelter

It was such a great experience!

I was concerned that it would not be possible for me, an 82yr old lady,no good at DIY. to put it together - but it just needed a Philips screwdriver and it was easy!

They were so helpful with advice and instruction and wow - British made - wonderful - superb bird feeder and cheap!

I ordered a new hedgehog house to replace the one we have had for years as the wood was now showing its age.This is well made with a good roof and unlike some I've see on line it's ready assembled. I'm sure my hedge hogs will much appreciate it and the big bag of hedge hog food that came with it as a bonus free gift. The hog house arrived fairly quickly and I was kept updated about the delivery.

The website was clear, with photos and my choice was made easy. The hibernation refuge hedgehog house was my choice and it came well-made and I'm looking forward to placing it in the garden. The house came promptly as indicated on the website.

The hedgehog house has not disappointed us. It is very sturdy and well built.
No hedgehog in residence yet, but we have a visitor for food each evening.
I’ve set up a camera to check that it is a hedgehog and not another type of visitor.

Very pleased with hedgehog house that I bought. It is well made, and just the right size. The price was good value. It arrived promptly and well packed. Also included were two free gifts, hedgehog food and a food dish, which was a lovely gesture. I would order from this company again.

Sent an email query before I ordered and had a quick and friendly response.
I ordered the beginners hedgehog hibernation box which came with food, a bowl and a bag of meadow hay (smells like heaven) but sadly no instruction leaflet (we managed though).
The hog home came ready made (great for diy inept people like us) and is sturdy and well made. Can't fault it.
Miraculously, 'our' hedgehog moved in within a couple of days. Whoop!!!!

I was very pleased with quality of hedgehog house, but unfortunately it was damaged in transit. After contacting Home & Roost l heard straight back from them with offer of a replacement house or full refund.

The hedgehog house that I bought was beautifully made and very reasonably priced. The delivery service (by courier) was very good, and the email contact I had with the company was very quick and helpful.

Having been feeding a hedgehog I decided to buy a hibernation house. Think I probably left it too late in the season for this year . Will leave it out to get weathered so hopefully will get used next year. This house is well made , comes ready assembled and at a sensible price. Can recommend . Just need a resident now .

Ordered a hedgehog home and some sundry items. Well made product at a good price. Chose to order direct from Home and Roost rather than than via the big online marketplace whose name begins with ‘A’ (on which they have a storefront) because I want to support small business and make sure that more of what I pay goes to seller.

The hedgehog house I bought looks really strong and well made. I am delighted with it. It arrived in good time from date of order and was well packaged and undamaged. I just hope a hedgehog finds it and makes it home.

Easy to order, and delivery of our hedgehog house was very quick. The house was extremely well made. There was a slight problem upon opening the box with a little damage to an interior partition in transit, but this was very quickly and satisfactorily remedied. I would definitely recommend Home and Roost, and would use them again. Thank you!

I was very impressed at the fast delivery of my bag of hedgehog food. He seems to be enjoying the dry biscuits rather than the wet food I was giving him. If he's happy I'm happy!

Lovely hedgehog house and a really nice size. Our lady hedgehogs has already moved in and I think the other two are a bit jealous because hers is a little bigger and I can see another one being bought to keep them happy. Great company and a well made product. AAA+++

Great product and keenly priced, swift dispatch, but let down by the courier, who managed to damage a key component. A quick email exchange of some photos and Alan and his team had a replacement on its way the same day!! I cannot fault the service and professionalism of Home & Roost.

I'm so glad it comes already assembled. Good quality materials and overlapping roof to keep it dry inside. Roof also removable for cleaning. I added the tunnel for security from cats and also reduces draughts. Thank you for the free food bowl and bag of Brambles hedgehog food. There was also a free bag of hay but I've replaced it with straw, which is less likely to get damp/mould. I am happy to recommend this hedgehog house. I just need to convince the hedgehog it's time to hibernate.

I found the hedgehog box to be really well made and it was so convenient to receive it already constructed.
I like the appearance of it very much and the hedgehog seems to agree with me because he eats all the food that I put in there.

The hedgehog house is lovely! The hay and food with it helps, I know I'm providing the right stuff! As soon as united utilities finish the sewer work the house will go in a quiet sheltered part of the garden fenced the the dogs can't disturb them!
